Some really boring links:
Caving Links
Friends Links
- Henry Bush - a very good
friend from Manchester, currently studying in Southampton. Knows a lot
about music
- Christine Currie
- I did physics with her at Oxford (though her surname was Ashton, then).
We both had a more theoretical bent so we took a lot of the same
classes. Now she's lecturing maths at Southampton
- Francis Tang (aka
Frankie-Boy) - I spent a year living with this dude in a flea-infested
hovel in Marston. He's in Singapore now. Knows a lot about
photography
- Lynn Mulelly - An Oxford
friend with whom I often used to go caving and climbing when I lived in
England
- Sattam Al-Riyami - I also
lived for a year with this monkey. He did physics with me at Queen's College and is also into photography.
He has a very slick website.
- Oli Hall - The coolest
Physicist to pass through the University. Currently living in London, where
he is no doubt making everybody's life just a bit more surreal. Also into
photography.
Oh, and if you're really bored you can read my 3rd year project
A detailed theoretical and practical investigation of a
digital clinometer for cave surveying (PDF format).
...or you can read an article I wrote about GPS for cavers
...or a rambling explanation of geodesy for the benefit of cave surveyors that I wrote on the survex mailing list (PDF format).
...or you can read my thesis.
